Have You Seen or Survived A Tornado?

While the severe weather in North Canton on Wednesday may not have been as bad as it was elsewhere, four tornadoes touched down in Ohio in Ashtabula, Huron, Sandusky, and Tuscarawas counties. As I waited the rain out, I wondered when the last time a tornado touched down in Stark County.

According to the Tornado History Project, 10 tornadoes have touched down in Stark County since 1965, causing a total of 12 injuries and two fatalities.

The most recent tornado was an F-2 in 2006 and caused no injuries or fatalities.
