We left it in your hands to decide North Canton's best St. Patrick's Day hangout, and you chose Puckers Sports Pub & Grille

First off, thanks to everyone who nominated North Canton St. Paddy's Day hangouts on North Canton Patch, everyone who shared our poll on Facebook and everyone who cast a vote in the poll. The winner, with 62 percent of the vote, is Puckers Sports Pub & Grille, which also won our last Readers' Choice contest — North Canton's best fish fry. Congrats, Puckers! (Check out Puckers' Facebook page to see how exactly they're celebrating the Irish holiday.) We've got to give a nod to the Barrel Room and Jojutlas Mexican Grill, which also were featured in the poll this week, thanks to your nominations. The Barrel Room came in second place with 26 percent of the vote. Look for our next installment of "Readers' Choice" Monday, when we'll ask you what …

Three local bars and restaurants are vying for title of best St. Patrick's Day spot in North Canton

What's your St. Paddy's Day vice? Green tortillas at Jojutlas Mexican Grill? A free build-your-own reuben buffet at the Barrel Room? The three are pitted against one another in our Readers' Choice competition this week to find where the best spot is in North Canton for a St. Paddy's Day celebration. We've been taking your nominations since Monday, and the time has come to vote. So, tell us, where would you rather spend your Irish holiday? We'll tally the votes at 5 p.m. Friday and announce our winner Saturday morning!
