UPDATE: Hoover Historical Center Announces Big Admission News

The organization announced exciting news on its Facebook page Tuesday morning

Update at 10:18 a.m.: The teasing is over — the Hoover Historical Center made a big statement Tueday morning by announcing its tours are now free. The organization will reopen its doors on Feb. 27.  The historical center previously charged $5 for admission for adults and children under 12 were free. Do you think not charging for admission is a good move?  —————————————————————— The Hoover Historical Center is teasing us.  The organization posted on its Facebook page that it is planning on making a big announcement around 10 a.m. Tuesday.  Some Facebook followers began to guess at the big announcement: To which the historical center replied no. Until the big news is shared on Facebook — what do you think the announcement will be today?

The folks at Walsh University's Hoover Historical Center have are having a merry time sharing "throwback" Hoover vacuum commercials on their Facebook page this week

This Weekend: Holiday Sweater Party, Coffee House Night & More

We've rounded up a few holiday-related events for you, like an ugly holiday sweater party and North Canton's Christmas sing and tree lighting, as well as other stuff to keep you entertained through the weekend

Community Effort Decorates Hoover Farm for the Holidays

The Hoover Historical Center is beautifully decorated every holiday season, thanks to hundreds of volunteers from North Canton and surrounding communities

When it comes to decorating for the holiday season, the general rule is the more people involved the merrier. The many community groups that come together every November is what truly makes Walsh University’s Hoover Historical Center a special place for the holidays. By Thanksgiving of every year and in plenty of time for the annual “Christmas on Hoover Farm,” volunteers will have the Hoover home dressed up in holiday glory. Each year several groups from North Canton and surrounding areas donate decorations and volunteer their time to put up the decorations, including nine trees, window wreaths, swags on the fence and other festive adornments.
