Week in Review: Farmers Market, New Hoover Tenant and More

So maybe you didn't click on all the North Canton Patch newsletters. And maybe a few Facebook updates slipped by you. For those reasons, we bring you the Week in Review.

1. Pat Yagielski spent 33 years working for the city and has been chief dispatcher for the past 17 years. Watch our video to find out what Yagielski and others had to say about her service to the North Canton community during her retirement party Friday. 2. We had some pretty cool photo galleries on the site this week. Viewfinder: A Day With Library Children's Department Head Jamie Macris

We spent some time hanging out in the library's children's department this week. Click through the gallery to see what was happening!

The North Canton Public Library has a new department head of the Children's Department, Jamie Macris. Macris is a longtime employee of the library and said she's excited with her new role. She took Patch contributor Rob Netro on a tour of the department and showed off many of the learning opportunities that are in store for kids who visit. One of the upcoming events is the kickoff to the summer reading series, which starts June 3.  The series features weekly reading for kids from 6 months up to 5th-graders.  Storyteller Katie Wright is coming with some animal tales July 16. The program start times vary from 10 a.m. to as late as 6:45 p.m.   There are also prizes for every hour that a child reads as part of the program. Stop by the library'…
