MAPPED: Richest, Poorest Neighborhoods in North Canton

A site called richblockspoorblocks.com uses census data so you can see your neighborhood's income

When you look at the North Canton area's highest and lowest income neighborhoods, those high-income territories are on the outskirts of the city. It's true, according to U.S. Census information. The information comes from a website called richblockspoorblocks.com, which offers median household income for each census tract, provided by the 2007-2011 American Community Survey.  The highest income neighborhoods ($69,000-$83,000 median household income) in the North Canton area are outlying the city. Those are places like Plain, Lake and Jackson townships. Good point Helen. There is a large solid portion of the NC population that is not getting represented in this winner take all system of voting on tax increases. Middle-low income (retirees/single workers) are getting beat up on darn near every election.   more ›
