World Book Night and the North Canton Public Library is giving you the chance to put a book in the hand of someone who doesn't normally read or doesn't have access to books. Yes, you. The two have partnered for the April 23 event and hope that you will sign on to hand out free books to strangers in North Canton. If handing a free book to a stranger sounds, well, a little strange, remember it's to "spread the love of reading, person to person," according to World Book Night. There are some great ideas on the testimonial page (former givers) here. http://www.us.worldbooknight.org/resources/testimonials/giver-testimonials I keep trying to think of a place that would be full of volunteers and other deserving people - maybe the humane society?
