PHOTOS: 'Wine Not Support the Arts?' Draws Dozens to the Barrel Room

Nearly 100 people stopped out to the Barrel Room Monday night to support local artists and help raise money for the non-profit organization, New Work City Foundation

Don't think you missed your chance to catch all the wine-inspired artwork in the Barrel Room. Although "Wine Not Support the Arts?" kicked off with an opening celebration Monday night, wine lovers can still check out all the works from local artists through March 3 and vote for their favorite artist through Feb. 25. Monday's "Wine Not Support the Arts?" event drew about 95 people to the Barrel Room Wine & Beer Bar. The event was hosted by New Work City Foundation, which distributes grants to businesses and organizations in Stark County for the purpose of creating jobs. What an excellent way to build arts appreciation for the North Canton community- and also contribute to creating and supporting jobs in Stark County. The number of attendees at this event clearly demonstrates the community's respect and passion for the arts, as well as their desire to get people working!
