Where's Santa? Track Him Live from North Canton!

NORAD, the North American Aerospace Defense Command, is again tracking Santa for children all around the world

Want to know when Santa will be in the North Canton area? Never fear! The North American Aerospace Defense Command (NORAD) has you covered. For more than 50 years they've been tracking Santa around the globe, and a team of volunteers are back it this Christmas Eve. "Each and every day throughout the year, all of us here at NORAD work diligently to defend and protect our nations," says Gen. Charles H. Jacoby Jr., NORAD commander. "It is an honor for us to take one day each year to expand our missions to share goodwill and holiday spirit across the globe through the NORAD Tracks Santa program." Track Santa on His Way to North Canton

Where is Santa now? Check his progress with NORAD.

Has Santa left the North Pole yet? When will he get here? No need to check the skies of North Canton tonight to see if the Jolly Old Elf is on his way.  You can find out at NORAD Tracks Santa, a website that keeps tabs on Santa's progress with official military tracking equipment. The site also uses Google Earth for a 3-D look at Santa's sleigh during his journey. The North American Aerospace Defense Command (NORAD) usually uses its high-tech tracking powers to watch for air and missile attacks.
