LOOK: Christmas Fun at North Canton Middle School!

Students got to sport crazy hats, ugly sweaters and visit with Santa Claus.

Students at North Canton Middle School got to have some holiday fun this week in between their lessons. Santa visited some classes on Thursday, students were encouraged to wear crazy Christmas hats and ugly Christmas sweaters – and there were even a couple Buddy the Elf sightings courtesy of some of the teachers. Check out the photos, submitted in our Pics & Clips gallery by Julie Burley, North Canton Middle School librarian. Christmas Sing and Tree Lighting Ceremony to Brighten Downtown Sunday

The ceremony takes place at Bitzer Park

It's time to don your Santa hat or elf ears and make your way to Bitzer Park and the Hoover Company lawn for a night of Christmas festivities. The North Canton Chamber of Commerce is hosting the Community Christmas Sing and Tree Lighting from 2 to 7 p.m. on Sunday. Families can enjoy entertainment, ice sculptures, refreshments, a tribute to veterans and, of course, a visit from Santa Claus. Accompanying activities throughout the day will also take place at the North Canton YMCA and inside the chamber office at 121 S. Main Street.   For the first time, Char Graham from KID-FIT, will lead children in a one-song performance with Hoover High School’s Hi-Lo’s and holiday movie shorts will be shown at the YMCA before and after the tree lighting…
