Look Up Boy Scout Leaders Expelled in Ohio

Information gathered by the Los Angeles Times shows the leaders of the Boy Scouts of America who were expelled between 1947 and 2005 on suspicions of sexual abuse. Patch's searchable database allows you to search by cities in Ohio. The Boy Scouts of America’s “perversion files” were released in October by order of the Oregon Supreme Court and it’s come to light that a North Canton scout leader was accused of drinking vodka with boy scouts and playing strip poker. This incident is one of thousands documented by the Boy Scouts of America from 1971 to 1991.

This is a very newsworthy story. There are many leaders on that list that are not just from 65 years ago. We need to keep a watchful eye on the people who are supposedly leading our youth and keep a watchful eye on an organization that for years did their best to hide this information from the public. North Canton Incident Turns Up in Boy Scouts of America's 'Perversion Files'

There are 138 pages in the spreadsheet recently released, and on page 68, a North Canton incident is listed from 1985

The Boy Scouts of America’s “perversion files” were released a few days ago by order of the Oregon Supreme Court and it’s come to light that a North Canton Boy Scout leader was accused of playing strip poker with scouts and taking nude photos of them. There aren't many details about the incident listed on the report. According to report, the Boy Scouts of America allege Joseph P. Kolp Jr., 56, of North Canton, drank beer and vodka and played strip poker with the scouts. He also took naked pictures of the children. The incident came out of Buckeye Regional Council 436 BSA.  This incident is one of thousands documented by the Boy Scouts of America from 1971 to 1991.  There are 1,892 incidents listed on the report. Sad, that children cannot trust adults. Wonder what was said or done to keep the children from telling someone. We always said" Do not let anyone touch you or ask anything of you that will make you feel bad". Run away,tell us or the nearest adult.Over & over we said this, for years.
