Investigation Ends Regarding Missing Orchard Hill PTA Money
The PTA had reported about $3,000 missing from their funds in May
North Canton police will not charge anyone in the case involving a reported $3,000 missing from the Orchard Hill Elementary PTA. Police issued a news release Wednesday saying a forensic accountant from the Bureau of Criminal Identification concluded that it can't be determined any money was stolen from the Orchard Hill PTA. The accountant had conducted a review of the financial records and bookkeeping methods of the PTA after PTA members reported the money missing in May. Because of his findings, the police department will classify the case as inactive and will file no criminal charges.
