LOOK: A Showcase of Hoover High Artwork

Outstanding student art will be displayed at Scholastic Regional Art Show and North Canton Little Art Gallery.

The following information was provided by Hoover High School art teacher Christopher Triner: National Scholastic Art Show 2013 With a new year comes a new showcase of Hoover High School talented artists! For the past 15 years Hoover students have been recognized for their outstanding work at the Scholastic Regional Art Show, which begins soon at the Stark Campus of Kent State University. The Scholastic Art Show is a nationally recognized display of student work in grades 7 - 12, representing a variety of media from traditional – such as painting and drawing – to more contemporary fashion design and digital entries. Works selected with the top honor of a "gold key" are sent to New York City to be judged nationally.  Locally over 4,000 works…
