LOOK: Christmas Fun at North Canton Middle School!

Students got to sport crazy hats, ugly sweaters and visit with Santa Claus.

Students at North Canton Middle School got to have some holiday fun this week in between their lessons. Santa visited some classes on Thursday, students were encouraged to wear crazy Christmas hats and ugly Christmas sweaters – and there were even a couple Buddy the Elf sightings courtesy of some of the teachers. Check out the photos, submitted in our Pics & Clips gallery by Julie Burley, North Canton Middle School librarian. GALLERY: Middle School Oohs and Ahhs Over Decorated Staff Pumpkins

Students will choose which pumpkin they'd like to win using the raffle tickets they bought this week. One ticket will be pulled for each decorated pumpkin this afternoon to determine the winner. Well, the students kept up their end of the deal by raising money for the school's library, and they picked Troy Richardson, a sixth grade social studies teacher, to wear the cheerleading uniform this past Friday. Check out the photos — submitted in our Pics & Clips gallery by Julie Burley, North Canton Middle School librarian — and let us know how Richardson looks in his new getup! And feel free to offer some congrats to the North Canton Middle School students for their dedication to their school library. See anything interesting happening at your school in North Canton, or …
