Kohl's Will Pick Up a Shopper's Tab Every Day Until Christmas

'Dream Receipt' promotion runs Nov. 23 - Dec. 24 at every store

Kohl’s is launching a “Dream Receipt” program, picking up the tab for one winner every day from Nov. 23 – Dec. 24, in every store and at Kohls.com.  A Kohl’s shopper will be picked at random every day in every one of Kohl’s 1,146 stores across the country and on Kohls.com.  Kohl’s will pay for each winner’s entire purchase. The store will give each winner an additional $10 transferable promotional gift so that they can help “pay it forward” by giving it to someone else for this holiday season. Over the 32-day period, Kohl’s will reward more than 36,500 Dream Receipt winners.  During the same period, for every new "like" on Kohl’s Facebook page, the store will donate $1 to Toys for Tots, up to $500,000.

North Canton Artists and Crafters: Where Will You Be This Holiday Season?

Use Patch to get the word out on where you'll be selling your art this holiday season.

Artists and crafters are invited to post events on Patch sharing when and where they'll be selling their art. And make sure to upload lots of photos of your work so shoppers can see what you have. We'll pull those events together in a weekly feature so shoppers can plan out their weekend craft show shopping.  It's a win-win for everybody. Artists get to promote their work for free. Readers get …

Main St. People come to their store for their expertise in trains, they said, and the friendly atmosphere keeps them coming back. That's something they say customers won't see at retail behemoths. Does business double during the holiday season, Robin answered, "It's probably more than that. What's after triple?" "Quadruple?" one customer chimed in. "What's after quadruple?" Robin said. You get the point. Local merchants probably started seeing a rise in sales in November, with the U.S. Department of Commerce …
