Someone stole $45 worth of nutcrackers from a car but left one behind in the 1000 block of Church Street
Someone used a brick to smash the window of a car in the 1000 block of Church Street SW and make off with a box of eight nutcrackers valued at $40. The person had taken one more $5 nutcracker but left it across the street. In breaking into the car, the person damaged the door frame and door. Also missing is a $200 GPS unit. The incident happened between 12:01 a.m. and 7:15 a.m. Jan. 6. Unwanted drugs A woman in the 400 block of Eastbury Avenue NE called police because she found three marijuana plants in her home about 12:40 p.m. Saturday. Police arrived and seized the plants.
