Information gathered by the Los Angeles Times shows the leaders of the Boy Scouts of America who were expelled between 1947 and 2005 on suspicions of sexual abuse. Patch's searchable database allows you to search by cities in Ohio. The Boy Scouts of America’s “perversion files” were released in October by order of the Oregon Supreme Court and it’s come to light that a North Canton scout leader was accused of drinking vodka with boy scouts and playing strip poker. This incident is one of thousands documented by the Boy Scouts of America from 1971 to 1991.

This week's Whiz Kids — great kids seem to come in pairs these days — come to us from Kristie Woods, director of development and community relations at St. Luke Foundation and St. Luke Lutheran Community. On March 25, these young men were honored for their character and efforts as Boy Scouts at St. Luke Lutheran Community in North Canton. If putting these names on a list and providing that info to the public brings even a little more…   more ›
