The Smithsonian Institution's Museum on Main Street program brings the traveling exhibit "Journey Stories" to the North Canton Heritage Society from September 23 to October 31.
This exhibit, made possible with the support of the Ohio Humanities Council, tells the story of how we all got to America and how we've moved about the country.
All of us have a journey story, and visitors will get the opportunity to tell their own stories. The Society will also have a companion photo exhibit "North Canton on the Move" with pictures from its collection of different modes of transportation used by local residents through the years. Hours for the exhibition are 9 a.m. to noon weekdays, 1 to 4 p.m.
Saturdays through October 31. A reception is planned for Saturday, Sept. 29 from 1 to 4 p.m. For more information, contact the Society at 330-494-4791.
