North Canton native Cindy Shellhammer-Fry is featured in this vintage snapshot captured during the 1965 Hall of Fame Grand Parade in Canton.
Fry, who was a North Canton midget cheerleader at the time, rode the Burger King float down the storied parade route, according to Canton resident Sandy Bulso.
Nearly 200,000 spectators are expected to line the 2.2-mile route on Aug. 3 to congratulate football's 2013 hall of famers.
