Walsh Cavaliers Battle Through Fierce Competition This Season

Moving to Division II and a new conference will be a new challenge for Walsh baseball this year.

The Walsh Cavaliers baseball team will have its hands full this season with a much more difficult Division II schedule.

In its first full season in the Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC) the Cavaliers are hoping to rise to the challenge.

With a team full of returning letter winners and seniors, as well as many high-achieving students, Head Coach Tim Mead thinks his boys have what it takes to win the GLIAC season championship.

However, because of a ban from the post season because of the change to Division II, Walsh will not be allowed to compete in the conference tournament.
