TTAWF Hope will host their 1st Annual “Hope Exists Walk and Fall Fest” on Saturday, October 27th, 2012 at Price Park in North Canton, OH from 5:00 pm until 10:00 pm.
TTAWF Hope is a non-profit, outreach organization founded in August of 2011, by Laura Parsons Lytle, author of To Tame a Wildflower. Based on Christian priciples, TTAWF Hope focuses on bringing hope to sexual abuse victims, self-harmers, those with addictions, and by those affected early onset dementias that fall under the Frontotemporal Degeneration (FTD) scope. The walk and fall fest are aimed at showing those affected by these issues that hope exists, and that there are people who care about them and what they are facing. The Hope Exists Walk and Fall Fest will feature a question and answer session with Founder and CEO Laura Parsons Lytle, live and original music played by A Call to Rise, speaker Brandon Kightlinger from Generation Akron, and Spoken Word poetry and hip-hop by R-Truth . Plus fun fall games, food, and activities for children of all ages. The walk has a light in the darkness theme where our walkers will carry glow sticks and may wear glow in the dark clothing.
