Diebold Community 5K - Be Bold. LIVE UNITED. Run 5K.

Diebold Incorporated is organizing the "Be Bold. Live United. Run 5K." public 5K community run on Saturday, September 8 at Kent State University at Stark campus. The race starts at 8 a.m. and begins at the Student Services Center at Stark State College. Event proceeds will benefit United Way of Greater Stark County's annual campaign.

Cost for race participants is $25. Registration can be completed online at http://www.boldunited5k.com or on-site the day of the event. Participants must register by Sept. 3 to ensure they receive a race shirt. Walkers are welcome.

Shirts and race bibs will be ready for pick-up Friday, Sept. 7 from noon to 6 p.m. at the Diebold Education Center/Stark State College Advanced Technology Center located at 6057 Strip Avenue NW in North Canton. A race-day packet will be available on site the morning of the race from 6:30 to 7:30 a.m. 

The race course is USA Track and Field certified so runners can accurately record their race time . The course runs on Loop Road, which stretches throughout Kent State University at Stark and Stark State College campuses. The race will be timed by Run to You Racing, LLC using a Jaguar™ Timing System. Awards will be given to the top three overall male and female finishers as well as the top two male and female finishers in each age group. All finishers will receive a participation gift.
