i GIVE H2OPE is hosting their “1st Annual i WALK FOR H2OPE” on Saturday, September 8, 2012 at the McKinley National Monument in Canton, OH from 11 AM-4 PM. This event will feature the opportunity for individuals to become part of a movement in Canton providing life giving water for families around the world who do not have access to clean and safe drinking water.
i GIVE H2OPE is a nonprofit organization that has a global campaign to help end the world water crisis. Their mission is to help give individuals hope and reveal their potential through the gift of clean water. And through a partnership with Seeds of Hope International Partnerships (SHIP) will bring clean water and education to those living in poverty in Zambia, Africa.
i GIVE H2OPE is inviting local families, students, friends and businesses to sign up to attend this walk, build a team and start securing pledges to help reach this goal to provide 1,000 families clean water in Zambia. Registration is $20 for the walk and will include a T-shirt, wrist band, lunch and the opportunity to carry water like the women and children in Zambia do everyday.
