Casino Night to Benefit Southwest Football and Cheerleading

Tickets are available for the group's biggest fundraiser of the year, taking place at 6 p.m. Feb. 25 at the North Canton Eagles

Ready to take a gamble?

Members of Southwest Youth Football and Cheerleading are hoping the answer's yes. They've got their fingers crossed for a big crowd at their annual a casino night fundraiser, which takes place Feb. 25. Money raised goes toward keeping up the program year after year.

"Food, fun, frivolity — there's fun to be had by all," cheer adviser Pat Davis said, adding it's Southwest Football and Cheerleading's biggest fundraiser of the year.

The event takes place at 6 p.m. Feb. 25 at the . Tickets are $25, and you can buy them at the door or in advance by calling Davis at 330-329-0021.

Event chairperson Theresa Lee said gamblers that night can munch on hors d'oeuvres, desserts and draft beer and soda. There's also a cash bar and appetizers such as chicken wings, pizza, meatballs (catered by Pizza Oven) and cheese and veggie trays.

Lee said the fundraiser lifts a burden off Southwest Youth Football and Cheerleading families because they have fewer costs to cover.
