Walsh University One of the Best Schools in Midwest, Says U.S. News & World Report
The annual report was released Monday, Sept. 10, and includes rankings and data on nearly 1,600 schools.
North Canton's Walsh University received a pat on the back when U.S. News & World Report ranked the Christian school as one of the best in the Midwest.
The "America's Best Colleges 2014" report, which came out Monday, ranked Walsh No. 48 in the Midwest regional universities category.
The popular periodical gathered data about each school in up to 16 areas related to scholastic excellence.
"Each indicator is assigned a weight (expressed as a percentage) based on the publication’s judgments about which measures of quality matter most. The colleges are ranked based on their composite," according to cantonrep.com.
