Video: Stark State, Walsh University Sign Agreements to Help Students Transition from Stark to Walsh

Walsh President Richard Jusseaume and Stark President John O'Donnell sign four articulation agreements that will help Stark students transition to Walsh for their bachelor degrees

Administration from and came together today to sign four articulation agreements that will help Stark State students with associate degrees transition to Walsh to complete their four-year degrees.

Associate degrees that apply are Business Management Technology, Marketing Management Technology, Accounting Technology/CPA Option and Nursing (A.D.N.).

Those students now can earn a bachelor’s degree in Management, Marketing, Accounting or Nursing through Walsh University’s School for Professional Studies.

Students from both Walsh University and Stark State spoke about their experiences at the campuses and their thoughts on the higher education collaboration, while Walsh President Richard Jusseaume and Stark State President John O'Donnell signed the agreements.

About 20 people attended the agreement signing inside Walsh University's Barrette Business and Community Center.

They also signed a renewal of the Early Childhood Education articulation agreement that outlines a degree completion option for Stark State students to earn Bachelor of Science degrees in education at Walsh University.
