PHOTOS: Walsh University Unveils New Birk Center for the Arts

Monday marked the first day of classes inside Walsh University's newest building

Monday wasn't just the first day back to school for some students; it was the first day to attend classes in the new Birk Center for the Arts.

The 13,000-square-foot building, connected to the south end of the Cecchini Center, is dedicated to furthering students’ studies in musical and visual arts.

North Canton Patch stopped by Monday to tour the building and caught the Cavalier Pride Band in action inside the Dorothy Ling Rehearsal Hall. (Click through the gallery to see the students performing.)
