North Canton Technology Director Eric Curts Selected as Google Certified Teacher

Google selected Curts and 58 other educators across the country who also participated in the two-day Google Teacher Academy in New York City

Eric Curts, a Patch blogger and North Canton City Schools technology director who's been with the district for 20 years, has been selected to become a Google Certified Teacher.

According to the Canton Respository, Curts and 58 other educators from across the country participated in the Google Teacher Academy, a two-day professional development workshop, this week in New York City.

The Canton Rep cited a Google news release this week, saying "the Google Teacher Academy recognizes educators who are doing innovative and exciting things in their classrooms with technology and gives these teachers the opportunity to learn directly about the latest technology and new ways to use it from Google product managers and previous graduates of the program."
