Kent State University Stark Chorus Groups Perform Holiday Favorites

The concert is at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday in the Main Hall Auditorium

The Music Department will host fall music performances by the University Chorus and Men’s Chorus that including holiday favorites.

The concert starts at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday in the Main Hall Auditorium, located at 6000 Frank Ave. This event is free and open to the public. No tickets are required. The ensembles are directed by Kenneth Kramer, professor of music. Sandy Wallace will accompany the choruses on piano.

The University Chorus consists of 30 Stark Campus students. Their performance begins with "The Star-Spangled Banner" and features an arrangement of "Ava Maria", along with popular holiday music, such as "Carol of the Bells."

Close to 30 Kent State Stark students comprise the Men’s Chorus. They will perform traditional and spiritual songs and a seasonal choice of "Gloria in Excelsis Deo", as well as a choral adaptation of Robert Frost’s poem "Stopping by Woods on a Snowy Evening."
