Hoover's Mackenzie DiPietro and Katie Casey Sign Letters of Intent to Play College Golf

DiPietro will head to Kent State, while Casey attends West Virginia Wesleyan. Both are four-year letter winners at Hoover High School.

Mackenzie DiPietro and Katie Casey, both seniors at Hoover High, signed national letters of intent to play college golf, according to CantonRep.com.

According to the newspaper, the two girls led the Vikings to an eighth-place finish at the state tournament last month.

DiPietro has committed to Kent State University of the Mid-American Conference.
