Hoover High Named One of U.S. News & World Report's Best High Schools
The magazine ranks Hoover High School 47th in the state
is the 47th best public, charter or magnet high school in Ohio, and the 1,145th best in the nation, according to new rankings released by U.S. News & World Report.
Hoover High recieved the silver medal and was praised for its participation rate (37 percent) in Advanced Placement courses. Students are also 97 percent proficient in reading and 96 percent proficient in math, according to the magazine.
According to the annual ranking by U.S. News and World Report, neighboring Jackson High School came in as the 24th best high school in Ohio and the 647th best in the nation.
