71 Students Receive Ohio Scholastic Media Association Awards

Hoover High School's The Viking Views newsmagazine took home a second place award and 71 students received individual awards April 5 from the Ohio Scholastic Media Association. 

The awards were handed out at the sixth-annual Ohio Scholastic Media Association state conference April 5 at Kent State University. 

Newspaper, yearbook, broadcast and video productions students earned a total of 18 Superior rankings, 28 Excellent and 25 Honorable Mentions for work that had been submitted in various individual and team advance contests.
