Stark County Offers Free Mosquito Control

Proactive Measure Against West Nile Virus

Though reports of West Nile in Stark County have remained low since the virus first entered Ohio, mosquito control efforts have increased.

“I rely on people calling me up and I maintain a list,” said Philip Revlock, mosquito program coordinator for the Stark County Health Department.

Crews remove still water, breeding grounds, and place larvicide and gravid traps, which collect mosquito eggs.
