Salaries of State, Local Officials Now Available in Searchable Database
State Treasurer Josh Mandel created online database to search for public officials' salaries
The new OhioTreasurer.gov website was launched today, and with it came a searchable database to find the salary of any local, federal, higher education or teacher salary in the state. This is the first database of its kind in state history, according to State Treasurer Josh Mandel.
The database was designed to provide increased transparency in the government and so taxpayers could follow their dollars, Mandel said.

• Josh Mandel (we thought it might be wise to start with him), state treasurer, earns $109,070 annually.
• Michael Gallina, superintendent of North Canton City Schools, earns $119,033 yearly.
