Residents May Place Flooding Debris on Curb for Pickup Through Monday

The city will pick up debris, carpet and other damaged household items from homes affected by recent flooding

For the next seven days, residents affected by last week's storm and high waters can throw out their carpet, small appliances and unwanted, damaged home debris for curbside pickup by the city.

The city asks that residents not throw out liquids, hazardous materials or large amounts of brush, according to a news release from City Administrator Michael Grimes.

The date for last pickup is Monday.
