PHOTOS: New Board of Education Members Get Sworn In

Jennifer Kling and Betty Fulton were sworn in and the board picked its president and vice president at North Canton Board of Education meeting Thursday night

and , North Canton City Schools' two new board members, were surrounded by friends and family as they were sworn in at their first meeting Thursday night.

Kling's mother, Stark County Commissioner Janet Weir Creighton, helped swear in her daughter that night.

Fulton and Kling ran in the November election against incumbent and then-board president , and . The two women beat out Greenwald and replaced Nancy Bundy, who chose not to run for re-election.

The swearing in took place at the board's organizational meeting that night, as did the choosing of the board's president and vice president. Nancy Marion took over as board president, while Chris Goldthorpe took over as vice president.

Buildings, Grounds, Maintenance and Transportation: Betty Fulton and Chris Goldthorpe 

Members decided to have their meetings at 6 p.m. the third Wednesday of each month in the Media Center. The next meeting takes place at 6 p.m. Feb. 15.
