On the Agenda: Council to Consider Dispatching Upgrades, Sale of Fire Equipment

North Canton City Council will meet at 7 p.m. tonight in City Hall

North Canton City Council is set to meet at 7 p.m. tonight. Here are a few highlights taken from tonight's agenda:

  • Council will consider an ordinance allowing the city to sell some equipment that's no longer needed. The city would get about $6,000 from the sale.
  • Council members are slated to have a final reading on an ordinance that would require property owners to with the city.
  • Also on the agenda is the third reading on an ordinance that would allow the city to spend $118,000 on the purchase and upgrade of dispatching and records management equipment for the .
