Joe Biden Coming to Northeast Ohio Sunday

The vice president will make a campaign stop with his wife, Jill, and Jason Mraz, at Lakewood High School on Sunday

Joe Biden is making Lakewood one of several stops in Northeast Ohio on Sunday. 

Along with his wife, Jill, the Vice President is slated to speak at Lakewood High School.

Representatives from the Secret Service began making inquiries with the city’s police and fire departments on Thursday about the vice president’s visit.

On Friday morning, campaign officials confirmed.

The doors at Lakewood High School are slated to open 8:45 a.m.

Multi-platinum Grammy winner, singer, songwriter and Obama-Biden supporter, Jason Mraz, is slated to perform in Lakewood — as well as in Fremont and Lancaster.

Tickets to the Lakewood event are available to the public, but tickets are required to the event. One ticket per person will be given out on a first-come, first-serve basis. Tickets are available from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. on Friday. If tickets are still available on Saturday, they can be picked up from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m.

Tickets can be picked up at the Lakewood Field Office, at 11822 Detroit Ave., or at the Cuyahoga County Democratic Party Headquarters at 1466 St Clair Avenue in Cleveland.

The Bidens are expected to speak in Lancaster and in Fremont later in the day.
