Council to Consider Buying Police Cruisers, Other Vehicles: On the Agenda
A preview of tonight's North Canton City Council meeting
North Canton City Council is slated to meet at 7 p.m. tonight in City Hall, 145 N. Main St.
Up for consideration tonight is the purchase of several vehicles, such as two cruisers for the , a dump truck, a 2.5-ton international cab truck and equipment for the cab truck.
Also on the agenda: a resolution authorizing the North Canton Police Department to enter into a memorandum of understanding with the University of Akron Research Foundation to participate in the 2012 OVI (Operating a Vehicle Under the Influence) Countywide Task Force.
