A Chorus for a Cause to Debut Children's, Youth and Hand Bell Choirs Saturday

Joan Ferris couldn’t pass up the opportunity to remind the community about this Saturday’s .

will perform at 7:30 p.m. at , benefiting the , Ferris said at Monday night’s North Canton City Council meeting.

Ferris, a North Canton resident, urged everyone there that night to attend. She said has been around for about two years, and it’s not quite up to the membership numbers they'd like.

Nevertheless, the group has been performing two shows each year, with one group or organization benefiting from the proceeds each time. That includes the American Heart Association, Juvenile Diabetes and the Domestic Violence Project.

“We all love it because we’re doing something with the voices we’ve been given, for people who don’t have the opportunity,” Ferris said.
