Candidate statement: I am very proud to be a resident of the city of North Canton. I love living here because of the great protection from our fire and police departments, nice parks, good schools and most important of all excellent neighbors. In fact, I feel this city’s strongest asset is the people who live here. It is my goal to get the residents more involved in the way government works.

I plan to start a community outreach program in which I will go and personally talk to randomly selected residents around the city. I would like citizens of North Canton to know what their government is working on and, most importantly, get their opinions and ideas on how to make the city an even better place to live. In these economic times we need new ideas to create jobs and find new revenue to provide services. I believe if we get the community involved we can put many ideas together and find a whole new way to bring business to the dogwood city.

I feel working with the  is a necessity for the economical growth of the city. We need to create more events that will draw people to the city and lead them to our great local businesses. When we bring more people into the city it increases our ability to get more businesses to set up in our great city.

I am excited to have the opportunity to work for and with the residents of North Canton. I look forward to meeting our citizens and hearing all their thoughts. I know if we all work together this will remain one of the best cities around.
