Woman Doesn't Know Who Signed Her Up For Dating Site & More: Police Blotter

A woman in her 30s who lives in the 8700 block of Grimes Avenue NW told on June 14 someone signed her up for a dating website without her knowledge. The case is considered identity fraud.
Burglary reported on Wilkshire Circle SW
Someone took $277 in cash and prescription information stubs from a home in the 1300 block of Wilkshire Circle SW between noon and 3 p.m. June 15.

Cash stolen from car on Donner Avenue
Someone took $25 in coins from a car parked in the 200 block of Donner Avenue between noon and 1 p.m. June 17.

Items stolen from two cars on 7th Street NE
Three pairs of sunglasses, a phone charger and three prescription medications were stolen from two cars parked in the 1130 block of 7th Street NE between 11 p.m. June 18 and 11:30 a.m. June 19. Estimated loss is $85.
CD player stolen from car
An auxiliary cord and AM/FM CD player were stolen from a car in the 1700 block of Beechwood Avenue NE between 10:15 p.m. June 16 and 4 p.m. June 18. Estimated loss is $90.
Woman believes someone's eavesdropping on phone calls
A woman in the 100 block of 7th Street told police someone was tapping into her phone conversations. She said it had been happening between 11 a.m. June 9 and 2 p.m. June 12.
