Traffic Stop Leads to Open Container, Drug Paraphernalia Charges: Police Blotter

arrested a 49-year-old Canton man Monday night after they found seven Grey Goose vodka bottles in his car, some open. They also found a digital scale and small glass table.
Police had pulled the man over for a traffic violation and found those items during a search of his car.
The man was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia, open container, driving under suspension and turning at an interseciton. He also had an outstanding warrant out for his arrest.

Stolen laptop, digital camera on Sunford Avenue
A woman in the 1100 block of Sunford Avenue SE told police someone she knew took her digital camera, Gateway laptop and jacket, totaling $1,219. The theft took place between 10 a.m. and 8 p.m. Jan. 3.

Damaged car on Everhard Road
Someone damaged the mirror of a car in the 100 block of Everhard Road SW. Estimated damage is $100.
Purse stolen from laundromat
A North Canton woman told police someone stole her purse from a laundromat between 7 p.m. Jan. 14 and 4:30 p.m. Sunday. The police report didn't list the name of the laundromat but did list the location as 707 S. Main St. The purse contained a wallet and driver's license.
Apple Court Apartment building damaged
Someone damaged the exterior lights on an apartment building in the 1100 block of Apple Court NE between 3 p.m. Jan. 10 and 4:28 p.m. Jan. 13. Estimated damage is $245.
Garage broken into on Fairview Street
A GPS and gas can were stolen from an unattached garage in the 200 block of Fairview Street between 7 p.m. Jan. 11 and 7 a.m. Jan. 12. Estimated loss is $405.
