Police Find no Evidence of Reported Gunman on Walsh Campus

Walsh University police looked at surveillance footage from Sunday night and were not able to confirm that there was anyone with a gun on campus

A group of students told police this week that they saw a man carrying a shotgun on campus between the Chapel and Farrell Hall.

The students, two male and one female, told police a male driver got out of his car and was holding a shotgun about 10 p.m. Sunday, according to a call for service entry from the .

The students called police a second time at 11:30 p.m. for a campus police escort.

An officer responded and didn't find the man, the man's car or any other problems on campus. They also examined security footage of the parking lot and didn't see anyone with a gun.
