Officials Investigate McKinley Avenue Fires (With Video)

The fire broke out Thursday morning and damaged three homes side by side in the 500 block of McKinley

Fire officials are investigating the cause of a SE Thursday morning. 

got the call for service at 10:13 a.m. and arrived at 10:16 a.m. When they got there, they found two homes on fire — 516 and 520 McKinley Ave. SW. The fire also had damaged the siding and fence of a home at 512 McKinley Ave.

No one was inside the homes when the fire broke out, and no injuries were reported, Chief John Bacon said.

The Canton Repository also reported Thursday that Robert L. and Cynthia J. Tedrow own 516 McKinley Ave. and had been renting it out. A Canton Municipal Court judge granted Robert Tedrow’s request to evict that tenant by 2:30 p.m. Thursday, the paper said, citing court records.
