North Canton Police Blotter: Stabbing Turned Over to Canton Police
Police handed over a case involving the stabbing of a 16-year-old boy to Canton police because the incident didn't happen in North Canton
Police say a 16-year-old Canton boy lied to his parents and told them he was near the in the 700 block of South Main Street when two others attacked and stabbed him.
Police later found out the boy was in Canton when stabbed.
Police said the boy was treated at Mercy Medical Center for minor injuries and released shortly after.
It likely was a drug deal gone wrong, and having happened it Canton, it was turned over to Canton police.
Stolen car
Someone stole a 2003 four-door Volkswagen Jetta from the 1300 block of Portage Street between 7 p.m. March 18 and 7:20 p.m. March 19. Estimated loss is $6,000.

Someone stole a Playstation 3, hard drive and video game accessories from a house in the 300 block of Pershing Avenue between 4 and 7:30 a.m. March 12. Estimated loss is $490.
25 DVDS, gone

Someone stole 25 DVDs from a house in the 700 block of Harmon Street SW between 6 p.m. March 12 and 8 p.m. March 19. The victim told police a recent guest in the home likely is to blame.
Stolen washing machine
Someone took a $300 washing machine and $1,500 worth of copper piping from a vacant property in the 200 block of 10th Street NE between 3 p.m. March 7 and 4:31 p.m. March 15.
