North Canton Police Arrest Kidnapping, Robbery Suspect

Canton Police were searching three suspects involved in a Canton kidnapping, robbery and North Canton Police arrested one man Monday in connection with the crimes.

An 18-year-old Canton man who allegedly carjacked three teens, beat one unconscious and kidnapped the other two was arrested by North Canton Police Monday afternoon.

J’Shar Dorian Stinson was taken in by the North Canton Police Department Monday on Logan Avenue NW, according to a Fox 8 report

Stinson is charged with kidnapping, aggravated robbery and is being held in Stark County Jail.

Canton police said Stinson was accompanied by two other suspects when they allegedly robbed three Canal Fulton teens at gunpoint, hit on in the head with a gun and took off in a Buick Century with two teen victims still in the car.

The injured 17-year-old was found later by his family  near an ATM in Canton and treated for minor injuries at a hospital.
