No One Injured in North Canton Basement Fire

Smoke detectors alerted the residents of the fire.

Officials are investigating a basement fire at the 300 block of Gaslight Circle SE, where a family was able to escape unharmed. 

The fire happened at 4 p.m. Saturday, when smoke detectors went off to alert the family. 

The Canton Repository reports officials believe damages total $50,000 to the structure and $75,000 to the contents.
