Donkeys On The Lam In Brecksville

Brecksville resident Becca Craig was shocked to glance out the front window of her Gatewood Drive home to find two donkeys chasing her pup Barney around the front yard Tuesday afternoon.

She quickly reacted, and pulled her dog inside to safety.

Turns out that the animals had escaped through an open fence at the nearby Brecksville Stables.

The donkeys were rounded up and returned to the stables.

Solon Dentist Accused Of Using Drug Database To Get Info On His Ex-Girlfriend

A Solon dentist has been indicted on 21 felony counts of unlawfully using the state prescription drug database to find information about his ex-girlfriend, according to the Cuyahoga County Prosecutor's Office.

Fred Glick, 55, of Russell, improperly used the Ohio State Board of Pharmacy prescription drug database to obtain information about people who were not his patients, including an ex-girlfriend and her current boyfriend and attorney, according to the indictment returned by a county grand jury earlier this week.

The prosecutor's office said Glick used the database to find where his ex-girlfriend was living.

Man Walks Into City Hall Dressed As Batman

Police received a report of a man donning a Batman costume and walking into Lakewood City Hall earlier this week.

However, there was no threat — just a joker.

The man told police that he “likes Batman and wore the costume to get some laughs.”

No Charges Filed In Meth Lab Explosion

No charges have been filed in a meth lab explosion that occurred Wednesday evening on Mac Drive in Stow.

Stow Police Chief Louis Dirker said charges are pending further investigation into the explosion, which sent two men to the Akron Children's Hospital Burn Unit for treatment.

Dirker said in a press release that 29-year-old Stow man and a 28-year-old Middlefield, OH, man were injured in the explosion, which happened at about 8 p.m. Wednesday in a duplex at 1442 Mac Drive. The men's names were not released.

The men sustained burns to their hands, feet and face, our news partner at WEWS Channel 5 reports. The meth lab was in a back bathroom.
