Man Witnesses Bold Car Break-In; Multiple Drug Arrests Reported: Crime Blotter

Marijuana motorist
On April 7 at 2:17 a.m., a 21-year-old Boardman man was pulled over in the 1600 block of South Main Street for a minor traffic violation.
North Canton police suspected drug activity, searched his car and found a bag of marijuana and a pipe.

He was charged with drug paraphernalia, a fourth-degree misdemeanor, and several minor misdemeanors, including possession of drugs.

On April 6 at 5:47 p.m., a Uniontown resident called police as he watched an unknown thief break into his locked car at Price Park. The thief swiped his daughter's purse, cell phone and iPod.
Funky odor
Officers arrived to the 800 block of Applegrove Street NW on April 5 to investigate a noise complaint. When the North Canton man in question opened his door, officers immediately smelled marijuana.
They searched the residence and found the illegal plant and a pipe used to smoke it. He was charged with drug possession and drug paraphernalia, both minor misdemeanors.
Traffic stop leads to arrest
During a routine traffic stop on March 30, officers arrested a 26-year-old Akron man after discovering an outstanding arrest warrant had been filed against him.
He was searched and marijuana was found in his pocket.
He was charged with drug possession, a minor misdemeanor, and handed over to the Akron Police Department.
