Man Spotted Stumbling Down Everhard Road, Burglary & More: Police Blotter

Burglary in 600 block of Pierce Avenue NW

Police responded to a burglary in the 600 block of Pierce Avenue NW this week. A woman told police someone broke into her home and caused $120 in damages between 7:20 and 10 a.m. Monday.

A 26-year-old Canton man was arrested for disorderly conduct by intoxication after he was seen by the North Canton roads superintendent stumbling down the middle of Everhard Road SW in the 200 block. The man was reported about 10:30 p.m. March 16. Disorderly conduct by intoxication is a minor misdemeanor.

Home damaged in 200 block of Sheraton Drive

Someone damaged the front door of a home in the 200 block of Sheraton Drive NW between 8 p.m. Sunday and 8 a.m. Tuesday. The person caused $130 in damages.

Dumpster mysteriously filled at Zion Lutheran Church

Someone who wasn't authorized to filled up 's Dumpster between 6:30 p.m. March 16 and 7 p.m. Sunday. The church is located at 344 Lindy Lane Ave. NW.

21-year-old busted for drugs in his car

Police issued a summons to appear in court to a 21-year-old Canton man after finding drugs in his car during a traffic stop. The man was pulled over at South Main Street and Everhard Road NW and the officer said in the report that he could smell marijuana coming from the car. After searching the car he found hand-rolled cigarettes, two baggies containing what looked like marijuana. The man was cited for permitting operation without a valid license, turning at intersections, driving without a valid license, display of license plates and possession of marijuana.
